JUBILEE OF BELARUS STATE AGRICULTURAL ACADEMY

175 years among leading educational enterprises of Europe and CIS countries

Article provides information on the history of academy from the beginning of the agricultural school to the present day for 175 years. The academy formed 17 scientific-pedagogical schools who contribute sufficient contribution to the development of agricultural science of the Republic of Belarus, and improve educational process of academy. In June 2015 a group of international expert auditors checked the quality management system (QMS) of our academy. By test results indicated that academy has been successfully implemented and effectively applied the QMS in the provision of educational and research services.

Productivity and quality of corn and winter triticale under influence of fertilizer and growth regulators application at soddy-podzolic light loamy soil

The high efficacy of micronutrient Adob-Cu and growth regulator on Moddus the background of N20P70K120 + N70 + N30 in the treatment of winter triticale and micronutrient Adob-Zn combined with complex the drug EleGum-Cu on the background N90P60K90 + N30 in the cultivation of corn, which provide a three year average grain yield of winter triticale 7,74 t/ha of green mass of corn and 73,6 t/ha are installed.

Varietal responsiveness of blue lupine conditions of supply cultivation at soddy-podzolic soils in North-East of Republic of Belarus

The article presents the results of research on the effect of different forms of trace elements, bacterial fertilizers and plant growth regulators in pre-sowing treatment of seeds blue lupine varieties Pershatsvet and Yan on a background of mineral nutrition. It was found that the more effective was the use of copper sulfate, manganese and cobalt chelate forms, which against fitostimofos + N30P30K90 + sapronit + epin increased productivity, grain quality, earnings and profitability. This grain corresponds to the content of essential amino acids and critical standards of FAO/WHO.

Influence of nutrition level and predecessors on resistance of spring hard wheat to lodging

The results of researches on stability of spring hard wheat to lodging at the use of different nutrient levels and predecessors are presented. Established that in conditions of The Republic of Belarus for spring hard wheat cultivation, regardless of morphotype sort, application of retardants against lodging is needed. Most influence on resistance of plants to lodging and productivity of hard wheat renders the level of nitrogen nutrition. Most economic efficiency in sowing of spring hard wheat is marked at highest background of phosphoric-potassium fertilizers (N50P80K100) at cultivation after a leguminous predecessor during realization of three additional fertilizing with the total dose of nitrogen 65-75 kg/ha.

Influence of new forms of fertilizers on photosynthetic activity of crops and productivity of oats at soddy-podzolic light loamy soil

Presentation of research materials to study the effect of complex fertilizer brand N:P:K = 13:11:22 with B, Cu and Mn for pre-sowing application, complex preparation based on copper as microelement and humic substances MicroStim – Copper L and water soluble complex preparation Nutrivant plus for non-root top-dressings of spring grain crops. Established positive influence of new preparation on photosynthetic activity of plants, yield and quality of oats variety Zapavet at soddy-podzolic light loamy soil in the North-Eastern part of Republic of Belarus.

Influence of mineral fertilizers and sprinkling on sugar sorghum (Echinochloa frumentaceae) productivity in North-East of Republic of Belarus

The results of the study of the influence of mineral fertilizers and water regime of sod-podzolic loamy soil on the yield of Japanese millet in the north-eastern part of Belarus. As a result, field studies found that the integrated use of N90P110K150 possible to obtain not only significant yield increase of sugar sorghum, but also to improve its feeding value. Study report allows to develop standards for the project irrigation regime of Japanese millet on soddy-podzolic loamy soils of the northeastern part of the Republic of Belarus, as well as to determine design standards irrigation and inter-irrigation minimum intervals for different Japanese millet moisture for years.

Comparative efficiency of combined application of fungicides and growth regulator Ecosil for spring rape

The presents results of research into the influence of combined application of fungicides and growth regulator Ecosil for the cultivation of spring rape on sward-podzolic soils of the north-eastern part of Belarus. We have established biological and economic efficiency of tank mixtures and their positive influence on the formation of phytosanitary situation, according to the development of alternariosis and productivity of rape spring plants. As a result, productivity of rape spring oilseeds increased on average during four years by 7,6-8,3% and amounted to 3,22-3,27 t/ha.

Efficiency of plant growth regulator Rostmoment for vegetable crops

Results of researches of efficiency of use of the regulator of growth of Rostmoment at cultivation of vegetable cultures are presented. It is established that use of the regulator of growth of Rostmoment on plants of a white cabbage promotes increase in average mass of a head of cabbage and increase of productivity to 79 t/ha. Productivity of carrots made 73,3-75,4 t/ha, at improvement of quality indicators of root crops. The general productivity of garlic winter made 45,5-45,9 t/ha.

Influence of herbicides application in combination with urea ammonium nitrate on dockage and yield of corn

Results of field experiment for study of combined application of herbicides and urea ammonium nitrate (UAN) are presented. Established that herbicides and UAN mixtures decrease weeds quantity and effective dozes of preparations. Application of herbicides FHRN 0031, KS and Sankor, VDG in maximum dozes for chemical weeding of corn for grain in combination with UAN allowed decrease weeds for 97,9 and 88,2%. Maximum (10,93 t|ha) reliable addition harvested due application of herbicide Master Power, MD (1,5 l/ha) in combination with UAN.

Agromeliorative improvement techniques for reducing of heavy metals accumulation in soil and plant products

Considered agromeliorative techniques including organic fertilizers, including liquid manure that is produced on livestock farms and water regulation by irrigation. The technology of preparation of organic fertilizers based on solids. In the method it is possible to produce vermicompost – a valuable organic fertilizer with high environmental performance.

ECOLOGY PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

Concentration of mineral nutrition elements of available forms in soils of «Pokrovskoe-Streshnevo» park

In anthropogenically modified soils of the «Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo» park processes of organic nitrogen mineralization containing compounds weakened, therefore, in regard to the vegetation of the park is lacking in nitrogen nutrition for normal growth and development. A large area of the Park is represented by soils with a high content of mobile phosphorus. The high content of exchange potassium have 60% of the park soils, 40% average, i.e., plants well supplied with this element.

Influence of municipal sewage sludge and humic compounds at liming background on agroecological properties of soil and concentration of heavy metals in plants

Article presents results of studies of humic compounds influence on soil properties and concentration of heavy metals in plants and soil at background aftereffect municipal sewage sludge and lime. It is noted that soil treatment by potassium humate revealed a tendency to increase total pollution index of heavy metals mobile forms in compare with the control background, especially at the lowest dose of lime.

YOUNG SCIENTISTS RESEARCHES

Mass transfer of 137Cs in «soil-plant» system in dependence of its localization in soil particles

In laboratory experiences on the aggregated sod-podzolic soil with labelled 137Cs fraction of the different size and different localization of an isotope in soil aggregates it is established: primary gradients of concentration at modular level disappear eventually, the radioisotope is practically in regular intervals distributed in soil weight that leads to decrease in its migratory ability and receipt in plants.
